SHENA DEADMAN - Trained locally at the Lladro Dance School, in Farnborough. As a professional dancer she toured Mexico and the USA, with a magic circus; the Far East, in a cabaret troup; before joining the Mexican Folklore Ballet as a soloist. She has also worked as a television extra and appeared in various TV commercials in Mexico, Japan and the UK. Shena's debut performance with MLD was in NEWS FLASH 24 (2011).
AMY-CLAIRE PALMER - Trained at the Gaynor Walter School of Dance in Devon focusing on ballet and modern dance. Amy has also completed a bachelor of Arts Degree in physical education and dance, specialising in contemporary dance at the university of Brighton in 2005. Amy is currently a teacher in a Surrey school, teaching physical education and GSCE dance. Amy's credits include "Grease" the musical, "Around The World In 80 Days", Motion Like Dance & News Flash 24. Amy is currently choreographing pieces for her school dance troupe which have been involved with the Surrey University and Godalming college.
DAVID BLACK - Started dancing at the age of seven when he joined the Gemma Rodgers School of theatre arts, studying jazz and modern dance. Since then he has been involved in many dance and theatre clubs. During his secondary school years David took part in a number of productions such as ‘Kiss Me Kate’ and ‘Bugsy Malone’ often with principle roles. More recently he has been a part of a local community entertainment group - dancing, singing and choreographing the shows and performing at local venues. David's debut performnace with MLD was in News Flash 24 (2011).
SARAH-JANE SMITH - Started dancing tap, ballet and modern at a young age with Jackie and Sally Pond. In later life she auditioned for Louise Nurding to be one of her backing dancers, performed with Pineapple Dance Studios and was accepted into Guildford School of Acting (although later turned down the opportunity). Sarah-Jane has also danced for Di Youdale. Sarah-Jane is a keen singer as well as a dancer and has had signing lessons from Phil Wisdom who has worked with Carrie Grant and more recently Sam Underwood. Sarah-Jane is now looking forward to performing again and hoping to develope her technique which is why she auditioned for MLD.
