AMY-CLAIRE PALMER - Trained at the Gaynor Walter School of Dance in Devon focusing on ballet and modern dance. Amy has also completed a bachelor of Arts Degree in physical education and dance, specialising in contemporary dance at the university of Brighton in 2005. Amy is currently a teacher in a Surrey school, teaching physical education and GSCE dance. Amy's credits include "Grease" the musical and "Around The World In 80 Days". Amy is currently choreographing pieces for her school dance troupe which have been involved with the Surrey University and Godalming college.
Lindsay Roderick - Started dancing at a young age at Jenny Reeds Dance School in Surrey. Lindsay completed awards in jazz to the highest level and performed in a number of in house shows. At university she continued dancing various styles but her main focus became street dance. While at university Lindsay co-ran the dance society which hosted many shows for charity. Since then she has continued to develope her street dance style and lyrical hip hop for a number of years. Lindsay is looking forward to performing as part of the MLD Dance Company.
LISA WEBB - Started dancing at the age of four with June White Academy Of Dance. Since that first ballet lesson she tried her hand at tap dacing, jazz, jive, street, hip hop, contemporary, kathak, vertical dance and african peoples dance. In 2006 Lisa graduated with honours degree in Dance & Culture where she was given the opportunity to hone her choreography skills. Lisa has danced with Bedlam Dance Company under the choreographer Yael Flexor. Lisa's other credits include Hrethric in Seamus Heaneys Beowulf, Kristine in a Chrous Line and Penny in a Slice Of Saturday Night. Lisa was pleased to be apart of the MLD debut performance and is looking forward to the upcoming events in the MLD calendar.
SERINA SMITH - Started dancing at a young age within various dance schools throughout Surrey. The styles Serina studied in her younger years include: Jazz, tap and modern in which she also took several exams. Serina went on to train at Brooklands College studying a BTEC First gaining distinctions in: dance performnace, understanding performance technology and performance project. Serina then furthered her training at Guildford College studying a BTEC national diploma in dance where she also varied her styles in: broadway, street, tap and contemporary. After several successful shows Serina took time out of the dance scene. A few years later she started taking regular street dance classes where she got her passion back for dance. After her succesful dance audition here at MLD, Serina is now looking to the future and her dance career continues......
