JO CLAPHAM - Has always loved to dance. From a young age Jo developed a passion for performing arts. Throughout secondary school and sixth form college in Wiltshire she excelled at drama and theatre studies, performing the lead roles in numerous musical and dance productions. Having been a gymnast and swimmer for a number years, Jo competed in these disciplines on behalf of her schools and university. Since then Jo has rediscovered dance, enjoying two years of pole dancing and one year of street dance. Jo's credits include: Motion Like Dance (2010) & News Flash 24 (2011).
SCOTT McDONALD - has enjoyed performing from an early age, appearing in every school show and concert , but it wasn't until the age of 14 that he started taking dance classes. Scott began his training in dance by taking Jazz classes with YEM Theatre School in Fleet and he has also participated in contemporary and ballet classes throughout the past six years. Scott is always looking for more opportunities to learn new dance styles and improve his performance, which is why MLD was such an appealing idea. He is really enjoying being a part of MLD and is hoping to audition for dance vocational colleges to further his studies in dance.
LISA WEBB - Started dancing at the age of four with June White Academy Of Dance. Since that first ballet lesson she tried her hand at tap dacing, jazz, jive, street, hip hop, contemporary, kathak, vertical dance and african peoples dance. In 2006 Lisa graduated with honours degree in Dance & Culture where she was given the opportunity to hone her choreography skills. Lisa has danced with Bedlam Dance Company under the choreographer Yael Flexor. Lisa's credits include: Motion Like Dance (2010) & News Flash 24 (2011), Hrethric in Seamus Heaneys Beowulf, Kristine in a Chrous Line and Penny in a Slice Of Saturday Night.
LUCY - Her interest in dance was first displayed in the form of baton twirling at the age of eight until age 14, in which Lucy obtained national and european champion and 4th in the world. Her love for the arts moved to musical theatre in which she trained in styles such as: ballet, tap, modern , jazz, acting and singing. Lucy also achieved bronze in L.A.M.D.A. She has appeared in endless pantomimes and and variety shows which filled her years of training. Credits after training included “ Crazy for you” – Hexagon Reading, “Amadeus” (Acting) - Harrow Arts Centre, “In our time” – London Palladium, “The Woking Pops” (with Jimmy Nail as guest) Woking Football stadium and many more shows. Her interest in performance also saw Lucy dance at London Hair Fashion week and appear on channel 4’s Big Breakfast.
